Lindsey Vonn (born 18 Oct 1984) is a retired American alpine ski champion who won gold in downhill at the Winter Olympics in 2010. It is the sole female skier to hold the second highest Super Score. She's among the top skiers in the world and also is the most loved american skier. Lindsey American World Cup alpine ski racer Caroline Vonn also known as Lindsey Vonn competes for the US Ski Team. She has taken home in the total World Cup competition four times. She has an extensive and prestigious track record in American sports. She's among only six females in the history of sports to have won the five World Cup races for alpine-skiing. In total, she's won more than the 82 World Cup titles. She is among the top skiers in the world and the most popular American ski racer has decided to retire after the World Championship which will take place in Sweden. Four-time World Cup winner decided to quit after suffering from several illnesses. The announcement of her retirement came through social media. Next week I'll compete in the final race of my career in the Downhill as well as the SG World Championships in Re Sweden.
